  1. At least you have a good reason for having that song stuck in your head. Funny…it’s the first song I learned to strum on the guitar a bunch of decades ago. Thanks for the memories.

  2. Have a great trip with lots of romance, romance, romance (and knitting and martinis — your pony pearls can take it!)

  3. Love the song!! Why don’t they do songs like this anymore?? Thanks for your comment on my blog about the mittens and using Macs with blogger. I’ll follow your suggestion next time! Meanwhile, it’s in the low single digits here in Wisconsin, with wind chill below zero. My mittens kept my hands nice and warm, but the Carribbean beach scene made me nice and warm inside.

  4. Since you mention Pony needles,
I just had to share this wonderful incident in my life with you because it’s about the HELPFUL PONY NEEDLES COMPANY.I
live in India, and though people in the Northern parts where it is cold
do knit a lot –thicker needles are not in demand and therefore not
available.I live in the eastern part in a town called Pune near Mumbai
and I love knitting shawls and scarves for family and friends on circular needle. When I could not find needles thicker than 6mm in PONY Needles which is the popular brand here I wrote to their factory in south India in the
Nilgiri Hills.I said that I felt like an ARTIST WITH ONLY ONE
PAINTBRUSH!!Within a couple of days I got a call and told that
circular needles of 8mm,9mm 10mm and 12mm which were only made for the
export market would be sent to their Mumbai outlet and then were
couriered to me today on trust–and I will be sending them a cheque
    payment tomorrow.
I feel so overwhelmed and grateful–for the PONY NEEDLE COMPANY went
beyond their line of duty to help just one person who reached out to
    them :-))
    love and light
    Jita
