Giving You All The Finger

I found this one on Purl This!, and couldn’t resist. Somehow I thought that I would be a different finger.

You Are the Thumb

You’re unique and flexible. And you defy any category.
Mentally strong and agile, you do things your own way. And you do them well.
You are a natural leader… but also truly a loner. You inspire many but connect with few.

You get along well with: The Middle Finger

Stay away from: The Pinky

In trolling through Bloglines yesterday, I found this on Fleegle’s blog. She’s compiled a spreadsheet of laceweight yarns, with yarn name, company, fiber content, and yards per pound. Brilliant!

Author: Lorette

My name is Lorette. I learned to knit in 1999, and took up spinning in 2009. I'm a physician specializing in internal medicine, and live in the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy my blog!

  1. Lorette- Every time I do one of those crazy quizzes, I can’t stop. I’m a ring finger.
I’ll check out the laceweight spreadsheet. It’s a great idea.

  2. Oh, this sucks:
    ***You Are a Pinky***
You are fiercely independent, and possibly downright weird.
A great communicator, you can get along with almost anyone.
You are kind and sympathetic. You support all your friends – and love them for who they are.

    Stay away from: The Thumb
I can take being called weird…but to stay away from The Thumb. Does that mean we can’t be friends? Boo. I think I’ll go and sulk now.

  3. Hey… I’m a thumb too. I was afraid I’d be the middle finger. Should I be concerned that it says I get along well with the middle finger?

  4. I’m amused that you get along with the middle finger too. And I don’t need to take the quiz to know that I do as well! =)

  5. OH NO!! I am a pinky!! Does that mean I never get to come and sit on your pretty porch and knit??? WAHHHHH!!!!
