Might Be Trouble…

Caught by John’s phone camera earlier tonight while I was plying up a whack of singles.

Will seems to be quite interested in the plying process. I’ll report back with how this goes…I’m thinking it might end badly.

  1. I had a tabby who would lay on his back in my lap while I was knitting. If I stopped for even a second, he’d tap my hands to continue. He never ate or bothered by knitting. He also played hockey with my thimble every night, no matter where I hid it on my sewing table. I was a big game. I miss him.

  2. Will looks so much like our newly acquired Fuji. Roughly same size & fluffy black. He was my daughter’s kitty but she was recently promoted which required her relocating to DC. Since he is 17, she didn’t want to risk moving him halfway across the country. He has always been a ery good knitting supervisor (once he learned that he wasn’t supposed to actually try to hold the needles or yarn.) He’s a super snuggly little guy who loves to sit on my lap – especially when I am knitting.

  3. I’m thinking the kitteh is watching until he can no longer stand it, then he will pounce and run away. That’s what mine would do. Earlier today one found a wrapped hard candy on the hardwood floor, and the two of them played soccer for a good 10 minutes.

  4. That cat looks like he is very interested. He was probably wishing he had opposable thumbs so he could spin too. Were you plying singles from your wheel or from your spindle? I have just started using a spindle a little and I am still trying to master the plying thing.
