Please Send Whiskey!

And the bind off begins. It's close to 600 stitches. For those of you who are actually knitters, I'm using a stretchy “lace” bind off, as follows:
Knit 2, *Insert left hand needle into the front of the 2 stitches on the right hand stitches. Knit these two stitches together through the back loop. Knit 1, knit 2 together through the back loop.* Repeat between the ** until all stitches are bound off.
Close to the finish line!

  1. I’ll think of you slogging through to the end, while I’m finishing up the socks I’m knitting. Only 10 rows of the foot, the toe decrease rows and Kitchener, then onto another project! You just keep your eye on the prize, a nice stretchy bound off edge!

  2. Those last endless stitches are rough!! I am finishing a pair of socks for my brother’s birthday which came and went 4 days ago! I hope he likes them for Christmas!! Hang in there and good luck.

  3. Thanks for the new bind-off. I use a stretchy one on my toe-up socks that has a yo between each stitch, but it looks messy unless it is stretched. Perfect for the top of socks, not so much on this shawl.
