Socks And The City

Sorry, I couldn’t resist that title.

I cast on for the second sock late last night, so I’m ready for the Yankee’s game today, assuming it quits raining. And yes, I was the only person knitting in the line waiting for a table at the Carnegie Deli.

And yes, Sweet Pea is enjoying NYC very much, thank you.

  1. I am so jealous that you are in “The City,” It’s such a dynamic and exciting place.
Hope you and the sock have a wonderful time.

  2. The socks look great. Have fun in NY. Jim and I were hoping to get up there this Spring, but with the move that won’t be happening. I highly recommend the Museum of Modern Art on 53rd between 5th and 6th. It’s been redesigned since we last visited, and is supposed to be fabulous.

  3. Oh, Sweet Pea!!! I’m so glad he’s there! I was SO excited to see you wearing your sweater, too! …and that is just classic your knitting in the back of a NYC cab. That just has to go into the knitting hall of fame!!!

  4. Love your red socks…can you please share what yarn you’re using?
Thanks so much – have fun at the ball park! 🙂 Knitting and baseball – what a great combination! Enjoy!
