  1. Sent you a message on Facebook, but it bears repeating. Have a wonderful knitting-full day. Dinner with your sweeties and champagne sounds perfect!

  2. Happy birthday!

(Oh, and my *other* favorite thing that happened today? It’s my parents’ wedding anniversary today. 48 years. I’m calling it the Contiguous State Anniversary.)

  3. Happy Birthday, Lorette…….Enjoy your day…..and may you have many more. Always enjoy reading your blog and seeing your knitting projects! I admire you; you are an inspiration to me…..

  4. Happy Birthay! I think Karen Allen hosts (has hosted, at any rate) knitting-yoga retreats… probably not on her birthday, but would make a nice birthday present, no?
    ; )

  5. Happy Birthday! You are right – there are lots of worse things than working on one’s birthday. Hope your day is great and your evening sparkling.

  6. Happy Birthday Lorette! It has been such a pleasure getting to “know” you over the years.

  7. A belated birthday to you. Also am hoping you feel better soon. We are planning a trip to Scotland to visit our daughter and son-in-law who live in Edinburgh. Hopefully will be able to go next May.
