Sorry, I couldn’t resist that title.
I cast on for the second sock late last night, so I’m ready for the Yankee’s game today, assuming it quits raining. And yes, I was the only person knitting in the line waiting for a table at the Carnegie Deli.
And yes, Sweet Pea is enjoying NYC very much, thank you.
I am so jealous that you are in “The City,” It’s such a dynamic and exciting place.
Hope you and the sock have a wonderful time.
Knit on,
mk
I’d be knitting with you in line, if I were there. Have a good time. . .
Haha what a clever title!!!
Very fun – and Rogue is looking great in NYC (wore my twin to yours all day yesterday!)
The socks look great. Have fun in NY. Jim and I were hoping to get up there this Spring, but with the move that won’t be happening. I highly recommend the Museum of Modern Art on 53rd between 5th and 6th. It’s been redesigned since we last visited, and is supposed to be fabulous.
Look at you in your gorgeous Rogue! And a Yankees game, I’m so jealous! And of the pickles, too. 🙂
Oh, Sweet Pea!!! I’m so glad he’s there! I was SO excited to see you wearing your sweater, too! …and that is just classic your knitting in the back of a NYC cab. That just has to go into the knitting hall of fame!!!
Lovely sock. Great photos. What the hell with the pickles?!
Sock looks great, you look great, Rogue looks great… oh and that plate of pickles looks great, too!!!
OMG – are you still here? Let’s knit!
Love the delis in NYC. Reminds me of my childhood. Where are the yarn store posts??
I knew I recognized the Deli! We went there when we were in NYC (aren’t the sandwiches gigantic???) and Tommy LaSorda walked through and waved at us!
Great photos, and I’m loving Rogue
Looks like that sock is having one great time!
I’m so glad you’re having such a great time!
Love your red socks…can you please share what yarn you’re using?
Thanks so much – have fun at the ball park! 🙂 Knitting and baseball – what a great combination! Enjoy!

The socks look great, of course! As always, it looks like you’re enjoying your visit to the big city!
The socks are gorgeous and I am pea green with envy…..I love NYC! If you go yarn shopping post all about it so I can live vivacriously through you! 😉
Next time you come, you will have to visit. I am joining the faculty at NYU in August! Hope you have a great trip.
A Molson, a plate of kosher pickles, and knitting – what could be more fun?? 😉
Looks like you’re having a fantastic time! Glad the sock got to see the sites.
