WIPs and UFOs in Abundance!

OK, I finally got all the WIPs and UFOs out and lined up for a photo shoot. Here’s a photo of the whole mess.

There are ten unfinished projects in that pile. Let me show you a photo of everything out of the bags.

This is rather unsettling for someone who insists that three WIPs is my comfort zone. I clearly need to get to work and get some weeding out done. Rather than overwhelm you with descriptions of all of these at once, I’ll do them one at a time.

First up is the Lacy Baktus.

I’m about half done with this. This is pretty much mindless knitting, as long as I remember to keep track of what row of the pattern I’m on. I started this one back in February. Let’s see how much of this I can get done between now and the next post, shall we?

  1. I’m halfway through my Lacey Baktus, too, due to a major ripping back. Mine was started in September. sigh Hope yours gets done quickly.

  2. I have 5 wips with me. The rest are in storage again. My comfort zone of a gazillion are boxed up in a storage unit. So you might think that many are crazy but don’t. There is always someone who’d think it just right. 🙂

  3. WIP’s do tend to creep on you don’t they? I’ve been pretty good about keeping my knitting under control, but my quilting is another thing. Of course, in my defense, most of my UFO’s there are tops that need to be quilted. Just think how good you’ll feel as you check each one off your list!

  4. Let’s try this again. My phone obviously wouldn’t let me post earlier today.

I have 5 WIPs with me now. The rest are in storage again. My comfort zone is about a gazillion at the same time. But since they are packed in boxes elsewhere, I’ll have to make do with what I have. As for your WIP pile, you may think it’s a bit much, but others think it’s just right.
    🙂

  5. OK this will be the third try. ~crosses fingers~ I have 5 WIPs with me. The other gazillion ( my comfort zone).are all boxed up in storage again. So you may think yours is too many, but someone out there thinks its just right. 🙂

  6. You’re a very brave lady to bring all the wip’s out in the daylight! However, we have the utmost confidence that they’ll ALL be FO’s before too long or John will be making a run to get more bourbon to keep you going. Good luck on finishing!

  7. I did the same thing recently, and frogged half the wip realizing I didn’t like them so why knit them.

You’ll be on a FO marathon soon!

  8. I so do not want to pull out all my WIP… there is so much to frog.
Maybe we should all get together one day over a couple of martinis and have a group frog party??
