Just because I can.
This is another UFO out of that big UFO pile I showed you a couple weeks ago. It’s a washcloth, so you’d think it wouldn’t have taken me two years or more to finish the thing, wouldn’t you? I picked it out of the pile after the Baktus was finished as an easy one to get done. I’m on the last pattern repeat, then a simple garter border, and it’s done.
And done will be done, even if it’s only a washcloth.
By the way, John reminded me that I never shared our Williamsburg photos with you. He put together a Picasa photo album, if anybody is interested!
A FO is an FO regardless of what it is! I think it is lovely! And thanks to John for reminding you about the pictures! I can’t wait to see what you captured. It is always interesting to see other people’s perspective on a place that you ahve been as well!
What Lisa said. 🙂 An FO is an FO!
I agree – in the Land of UFO’s, finished is finished! Another one to cross off the list. Especially when you have as many as you do. :p
Just got done looking at all your pictures. What a great vacation. Hmmm – there were a lot of pictures of food! That barbecue looked great!
And your first supper is one of my favorite meals – one we have about once a week (altho sometimes we have corn instead of green beans). There are some amazing photos there. My compliments to the photographer. What kind of camera do you have? I find my digital photos are way less good than my slides. To me a 35mm camera is the easiest thing in the world to use to get great pictures. Digital seems so much more complex. We got Nikon D40’s so we could use the lenses we already have but the results aren’t as good. Maybe I just need to take a lot of time taking photos for practice.
ANY FO is an accomplishment!
dang.. the way your WIP pile is diminishing, we won’t need a frog party after all 😉
Loved the pictures from your vacation! Wish I had known you were coming this way-I live in Ford’s Colony!
