So what have we been up to??
We went to church at the local cathedral:
We got invited to a nice lunch:
I found yarn, sort of:
We spent a whole day at the resort doing next to nothing:
Today we took a tour out of town, and went to a botanical garden:
We saw cheese being made in a tiny village (and tortillas though there is no photo of that):
Our tour guide, Sandra, gave us the rundown on how tequila is made:
I found a parrot that wasn’t very impressed with my knitting skills:
We bumped around the countryside in an open truck:
And we tasted tequila, of course!
We have one more full day here, then home. The latest report from the home front is that the temperature is below freezing, and there is an inch of new snow on the ground. Sheesh. I wonder if they’d believe me if I called in sick and just stayed here. Right. Not so much. Later…
Never fear! It’s supposed to be sunny and 60 on Thursday. Probably not as nice as where your are now, but acceptable.
The snow is pretty much gone and it’s supposed to be 60 by Thursday…maybe spring is on its way?
Such a beautiful church!! I love those old, traditional cathedrals.
I know how you feel about not wanting to go home. That happened to me when I visited Hawaii. Six months later I quit my job and moved there…was there for 10 years! Best thing I ever did. No regrets here.

oops! Sorry for the duplicate….and whatever happened to the last sentence?!? Oh well.
It’s 39 right now, and was very nippy on my walk home from work. But the snow is gone. I can’t believe it will be as warm as your correspondents say. That would be nice. I’m getting tired of cold.
So nice. I love the picture of the parrot looking at your knitting!
Drooling here in Edmonton where it’s 3 C – that’s warm for here! On baby countdown for my daughter.
Maybe the weather will surprise you back home, you never know. If not, you’ll have an excuse to drink more tequila. 🙂
We are practicing our Irish coffee for next week.
Oh, it looks and sounds so wonderful… It’s 24F here right now.
