Seaming party

Or,

A Pile of Sweater Pieces

Fortunately, I’m one of those weirdos that actually enjoys sewing up sweater pieces. This means a finished sweater isn’t too far off!

  1. Ugh….I have a seaming party at my house that I don’t want to attend! An Aran knit, 40 years in the making (totally assembled sweater ripped once when I was in high school, pieces ripped once a few years ago)…finally knit to fit. I must seam soon. It’s not that I don’t know how. It’s not that it goes slowly for me. But I find I dislike finishing anything, from mounting needlepoint, to finishing finishing cross stitch, to sewing hems and buttons. I wonder why? Maybe I’m more of a process crafter?

Anyway, you’re on your way to another finish!

  2. This looks great – I am about a week away from seaming my first cardigan. I am hoping it is not a tragic experience! I can’t wait to see how yours comes together.

  3. I’d stick with “Seaming Party.” “A Pile of Sweater Pieces” is going to be a bit cumbersome on the invitations.
